INFORMATION

All Hadley wants to do is become a journalist, but she is still in college. She currently works as a waitress at the Port Diner. Hadley doesn't have any pets that live with her, but would like to get a cat one day. She lives in Apartment #18 of the Birdstep Apartment Complex. She is good at drawing and writing, but is clumsy and can't play sports.

APPEARANCE

At first glance Haddie is a very delicate figure. Standing at  5'4 with pale warm toned skin and soft features.  Her face is in the shape of an oval, with a soft jawline, and cheekbones. Her cupid's bow isn't strong, and her lips are thin. Her nose slightly turned up, but of average size.  Her irises are a pale gray, with small bits of yellow near her pupil, inside large, and slightly wide set, almond shaped eyes. Her hair falls just past her shoulders, slightly waving mid-length. It is a dark strawberry blonde color. Hadley's body shape is somewhere in between an hourglass and an rectangle. She had long legs, and small feet.

PERSONALITY

Outspoken Judgmental, Ambitious, Stubborn,  Rational Outspoken- Hadley is very quick to speak her mind, especially if she thinks something isn't right. Generally her outspoken nature gets her into a lot of trouble with her bosses and parents. Judgmental- Hadley also tends to judge people by how they look or how they act. She doesn't mean it, but her outspokenness negatively enhances this trait. Such as in the case where she tells the person next to her what she thinks about someone else. Ambitious - All Haddie wants to do is be a writer for the local newspaper, and nothing is ever going to stop her from getting there. She had worked hard in school and is working hard as a freshman in college to achieve this goal. Her ambition also shows in her hobbies. How she wants to be the best at writing, and the best at drawing. But her ambition isn't enough to get on other people's nerves Stubborn - Haddie won't change her opinions once she makes them. She is persistent to get what she wants and it is difficult to change her mind. In some aspects her stubbornness pays off, also branching off into her ambition. Rational- Hadley knows that for her actions there are consequences whether they are negative or positive. She tries her hardest to think about what she is going to do, and tends to keep her cool in stressful situations.

LIKES, DISLIKES, and FEARS

Strawberries - Haddie can't get enough of this fruit. Something about the bright red color, or the sweetness. Especially in cheesecake in the form of a strawberry glaze. Traveling - Going to places and meeting new people is one of Hadley's favorite pastimes. Maybe it's because she wants to be a journalist, and knows in order to get a good story you can't just sit around. Writing - She want's to be a journalist, and writing is a necessary skill. It's all about being able to put her opinions on a piece of paper, and then being able to shred it if she would like. Tomatoes - It's not just the fruit(vegetable?) that drives her crazy. Anything with a tomato base really, ketchup is a big no and even pizza. Train Rides - The sound of a noises train car is annoying to her. Loud Noises - Easily startled, Haddie hates anything that is very loud, yet for some reason she lives in a city... Cars - Her sister was killed in a car accident Spiders - Their creepy, crawlers, that walk on eight legs, and could kill you... Heights - It's high up there in a tall building, especially if your looking down. What if she fell.

HISTORY

Hadley Constance Dalton was born on a rainy summer day in a town only a few hours away from Milwood. Brought into the world by Michelle and Denver Dalton, as the second youngest out of five children. Named because her mother wanted something that was 'original' but her father had wanted to name her Hailey. So they settled with Hadley. It wasn't original, but it wasn't common, and it sounded some what like Hailey. Next came the middle name, after her great grandmother Constance Evelyn Harper. When she was first born she had two older sisters and a brother who at the time were eight, five and three. As the youngest up until she was five years old, she found herself being picked on by her siblings. All except the oldest sibling, Katrina, who often would take Haddie out to play hide-and-seek while her parents were working, and her siblings were busy with other things. When she was five, the newest member of the Dalton family arrived. Cooper. At first, Hadley felt as if she had been replaced, and did everything she could to keep the attention on her, but it never went back to her, and she got over the jealousy. When Hadley was twelve a fire next door caused her to figure out who she wanted to be. She watched how reporters create awareness for the problems and decided that being a journalist was what she really wanted to do, but like many other families, she would not have had enough money to get into college. So she worked her hardest in school, got a job at a local ice cream store and managed to get into college in Milwood.
